Puraai

Puraai nasce nel 2018 dall’unione dello spirito creativo di due giovani designer italiani, mossi da una continua ricerca di qualcosa che potesse rappresentarli a fondo; alla fine, trovano ispirazione per il brand durante un viaggio in Giappone.

Al termine di una giornata trascorsa a scoprire e studiare le ultime tendenze a Tokyo, vengono attratti da un piccolo dettaglio su una bottiglia di plastica riciclabile. ラ, infatti, fa parte del carattere giapponese utilizzato per identificare un prodotto riciclabile, un concetto molto caro ad entrambi e al quale, oggi più che mai, tutti dovrebbero prestare attenzione.

Nasce così l’intuizione di creare una linea di prodotti che abbiano in comune l’utilizzo esclusivo di materiali sostenibili e riciclati. “Pura”, infatti, in giapponese significa “plastica” e “ai” significa “amore”, perché se utilizzata, riciclata e riutilizzata correttamente, la plastica può essere un materiale incredibilmente versatile, per creare qualsiasi oggetto nel rispetto del nostro amato ambiente. Oggi puraai propone prodotti ecosostenibili per un cambiamento culturale, accattivanti nell’estetica e pratici nell’uso quotidiano, un approccio diverso all’uso dei materiali.

Puraai was born in 2018 merging the creative spirit of two young Italian designers, moved by a constant research for something that could have represented them thoroughly; finally, they found inspiration for the brand during a trip in Japan.

At the end of a day spent discovering and studying the latest trends in Tokyo, they were attracted by a small detail on a recyclable plastic bottle. Indeed, ラ is part of the Japanese character used to identify a recyclable product, a very dear concept for both to which, today more than ever, everyone should care about.

There arose the intuition of creating a line of products that had in common the exclusive use of sustainable and recycled materials. “Pura”, in fact, in Japanese means “plastic” and “ai” means “love”, because if used, recycled and reused properly, plastic can be an incredibly versatile material, to create any object respecting our beloved environment. Today puraai offers environmentally friendly products for a cultural change, captivating in aesthetic and practical for everyday use, a different approach to the use of materials.
